Boulders Beach Penguin Colony in Table Mountain National Park

A PAIR OF AFRICAN PENGUINS You can visit the African Penguins in their colony from 08h00 to 17h00, the gates of the park open daily and there is an entrance fee to pay as you are entering the Table Mountain National Park. There are public bathing beaches, parking and restaurants at both ends, some of the best secret bathing beaches on the Cape Peninsula are to be found within a 20 min walk. THE BOARDWALK TO THE BOULDERS NESTING BEACH

To get there: Follow the main road through Simon's Town. At the end of Simon's Town, after the big Navy compound on the seaside, penguin colony entry signs - at the begining it is signposted "Seaforth Beach" OR at the end it is signed "Boulders Beach". The pathway to the Penguin colony runs through these two areas and you can walk down a boardwalk onto their nesting beach.
